Who Are Our Tutors?
Our tutors are university students who volunteer their time to be a part of our program. By completing training modules, our tutors learn effective teaching strategies, such as the importance of personalizing approaches, and culturally safe delivery. They have also all undergone criminal record checks.
What Tutoring Services We Provide
No charges. 100% free!
K - 12
We offer tutoring in all subjects of the B.C. curriculum, supporting students from K–12 with personalized help where they need it most.
Kindergarten to Grade 12
ESL / ELL
We provide dedicated support for ESL and ELL students, helping them build confidence in English while thriving in all areas of the curriculum.
English Language Learning
How Our Sessions Work
Our process is designed to be simple and straightforward, offering flexibility and ease for every student’s needs.
1. Getting to Know You
The first meeting will be between the program’s executives and the parent(s) to get to know the student and how we can help them.
2. Finding Your Tutor
The student will then be matched to a tutor within the program based on areas of expertise and availability.
3. Setting Your Schedule
Once matched, a set schedule for tutoring sessions for the student will be established by their tutor.
1-on-1 tutoring sessions will be held through Zoom.
